H's Birthday

Last Friday it was time to celebrate H's 40th, and the fact it was already ten years since he joined KLP. So party in the Medeteranian. We were there some time before the brithday boy himself attended the party, but since drinks were free, the wait wasn't that bad. After a wile H arrived, and I think most of the company dropped in to hug H.
The food in the Med was buffet style this time. Looks nice, but you get a lot less to eat. Oh wel we have to make up for that with more liquid food then.
But party time didn't last that long, work was waiting, for me at least. So I spend most of the afternoon with John to finish a job. After which John joined the after party in the Argyl. No doubt it went on for quite some time there, but unfortunately I couldn't attend myself as I had a mate visiting. I'll be there again next birthday.

Afgelopen vrijdag was het H's zijn 40ste verjaardag en hij was ook nog eens 10 jaar bij de zaak. Tijd voor een feestje bij de Medeteranian dus. Wij waren er al een tijdje voor het feestvarken zelf arriveerde. Maar de drank was gratis, dus het was geen al te groot probleem. H kwam iest later zelf ook en het grootste deel van het bedrijf kwam even langs om hem te felciteren.
Het eten wwa sdit maal in buffet stijl. Ziet er goed uit, maar je krijgt minder te eten, nouja, dat vullen we dan maar op met vloeibaar voedsel.
Maar het feest duurde niet lang, het werk wachte, voor mij althans.Dus ik heb de middag samen met John besteed om een klus af te maken. Waarna John zich bij de afteroarty kon voegen in de oude vertrouwde 'Argyl' (onze vaste pub). Ongetwijfeld is het feest daar nog even doorgegaan, maar helaas had ik bezoek van Jacco en kon dus zelf niet. Volgende verjaardag ben ik weer van de party.
