Cultureel weekend

Afgelopen weekend me weer eens in de cultuursector van London gestort. Door Atsrid was ik erop attend gemaakt dat er een tentoonstelling van Rusische constructivisten was in Tate Modern. Dus op zaterdag maar even gaan kijken. 12 zalen met strepen en cirkels die de wereld moesten verbeteren. Het was erg mooi.
Ik heb mezelf meteen getrakteerd op een Tate mebership, kan ik alle tentoonstellingen van Tate Modern en Tate Britain de rest van het jaar gratis in.
En zondag naar de Wallace collectie geweest. Een museum met de collectie van de Wallace familie. Daar was ik nog nooit geweest. En het was mooi weer zondag, en musea zijn gratis, wat wil je nog meer als Hollander. De Wallace collectie heeft een enorme verzameling harnassen en oude wapens, en een behoorlijke verzameling schilderijen. Veel Hollandse meesters, oa een stuk of vier Rembrants. Afijn, het weekend was weer goed besteedt.

Last weekend was a cultural one. Sunday I've been to Tate Modern to watch the Russian Constructivisme exhibition, which was pointed out to me by my sister. 12 rooms of circles and lines which were supposed to cure the world. It was impressive.
I also bought myself a Tate membership, so the rest of the year I can visit all exhibitions in Tate Modern and Tate Britain for free.
And Sunday I went to the Wallace collection. Never been there before so reason enough for a visit. And after all it was nice weather and museums are free, what more can you want being Ducth. De Wallace collection is many old armour, weapons, and paintings. A lot of Ducth masters amongst which Rembrant. The weekend was well spend.
